Medical Disclaimer & Terms of Use
Last updated: November 1, 2025
This Medical Disclaimer & Terms of Use explains the scope of information provided by TrimTale LLC ("TrimTale", "we", "us") about medications, treatment options, prescribing practices, and patient responsibilities. The content is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Our Services & Scope
TrimTale provides telehealth consultations, clinical evaluations, and prescription medication access where permitted by law. We connect patients with independent, licensed healthcare providers who evaluate medical suitability and may prescribe medications when clinically appropriate.
Medications We May Provide
Semaglutide
Semaglutide is a medication used in certain clinical contexts to support body weight reduction when prescribed by a medical professional as part of a comprehensive treatment program. Semaglutide products are available in several brand-name and generic formulations. Some of the Semaglutide products available through TrimTale may be compounded formulations.
Sildenafil & Tadalafil (PDE5 inhibitors)
Sildenafil and Tadalafil are active pharmaceutical ingredients commonly used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). These active ingredients are available in FDA-approved branded and generic formulations (for example, Viagra® / Cialis® for their branded names). TrimTale may provide prescription access to formulations that are FDA-approved, generic, or compounded depending on clinical need and availability.
Prescription Requirements & Independent Provider Role
- All prescriptions are issued by independent, licensed healthcare providers after an evaluation (telehealth or in-person) and subject to medical judgment.
- Providers may require medical history, current medications, allergies, vital signs, lab results, or other information before issuing a prescription.
- TrimTale does not guarantee that any prescription will be written; clinical appropriateness is determined by the prescribing provider.
Contraindications, Interactions & Safety Warnings
Do Not Use With Nitrates
Warning: Do not take sildenafil or tadalafil if you are taking nitrates (such as nitroglycerin) or nitric oxide donors. Concomitant use can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
Cardiovascular & Other Important Warnings
- Before using PDE5 inhibitors (sildenafil/tadalafil), inform your provider if you have heart disease, recent heart attack/stroke, uncontrolled blood pressure, or severe liver or kidney disease.
- Semaglutide may cause gastrointestinal side effects (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) and may be contraindicated or used cautiously in patients with a history of pancreatitis or certain thyroid conditions; discuss your medical history with your provider.
- Do not use these medications recreationally or share prescriptions with others.
- If you experience chest pain, fainting, severe dizziness, or priapism (an erection lasting >4 hours), seek emergency medical attention immediately.
Drug Interactions
These medications can interact with other prescription or over-the-counter drugs. Always provide a full medication list (including nitrates, alpha-blockers, certain antifungals, macrolide antibiotics, HIV protease inhibitors, and others) to your prescribing provider.
Pregnancy, Nursing & Women of Childbearing Potential
If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, tell your provider. Sildenafil, tadalafil, and semaglutide have specific safety considerations for pregnancy and breastfeeding; some may be contraindicated.
Possible Side Effects
All medications can cause side effects. Common side effects (not exhaustive) include:
- Sildenafil/Tadalafil: headache, flushing, nasal congestion, dyspepsia, back pain, visual disturbances (rare), and rarely severe hypotension.
- Semaglutide: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, decreased appetite, and potential for pancreatitis in certain patients.
If you experience severe or concerning side effects, stop the medication and seek medical attention.
Protected Health Information (PHI) & Privacy
Information you provide through medical intake forms and secure patient portals may include Protected Health Information (PHI). PHI is handled under applicable privacy laws (including HIPAA/HITECH where applicable) and is not shared with advertising partners. For details on how we collect and use non-PHI website activity and advertising data, see our Privacy Policy.
Patient Responsibilities & Informed Consent
- Provide accurate medical history and a complete medication list.
- Disclose allergies, prior adverse drug reactions, and any cardiovascular history.
- Follow prescribing instructions and counseling provided by your healthcare provider and pharmacist.
- Do not combine medications (for example nitrates with PDE5 inhibitors) without explicit written instruction from your provider.
- If prescribed a compounded product, review the pharmacy label, concentration, and administration instructions carefully.
Dispensing, Pharmacy & Shipping
Prescriptions will be filled by licensed pharmacies that meet applicable regulatory requirements. Compounded medications are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies according to prescriber instructions and local law.
Shipping and delivery depend on pharmacy policies and local regulations. We may use third-party pharmacies and shipping providers; shipping times, fees, and availability may vary.
No Guarantee of Results
Individual responses to medications vary. TrimTale does not guarantee any specific clinical outcome or weight loss amount. Treatment success depends on many factors, including adherence, underlying medical conditions, and concurrent lifestyle interventions.
